Maymont

The mended eagle is the showstopper at the $2.8 million Robert M. Freeman Bald Eagle Habitat & Raptor Valley at Maymont.

One of the most popular features at Maymont is the black bear habitat. In 2006, Maymont received two new bears. They are both males and are roughly the same age—turning 3 in 2008.

The Maymont house of James and Sally Dooley is lavishy decorated each Holiday Season reflecting the style circa 1893.
