Welcome to the new DiscoverRichmond.com Web site. We have made big changes to the site visually, and added new features for multimedia and comments.
We’ve kept the information that visitors find useful, and we continue to grow and improve.
New this year:
- Video: Discover Richmond through video on the new site. Watch it on the homepage, watch it in the articles. Have a video to share? Send us an e-mail and we’ll get it online.
- Comments: We love your feedback and have enabled user comments on every article. Just register to post a comment, then check back and follow the discussion.
- Most viewed stories: From article pages, check out the list of most viewed stories and see what others are reading. (You may be interested in a popular read as well.)
- Search: Seems simple, but the newly retired Discover site was not searchable. Now you can look up your favorite spots!
- Tags: Tags are a quick way for us to suggest related articles. Look for the list of tags at the bottom of each article to dig deeper and learn more.
- More localities: The Richmond Times-Dispatch’s goal to cover 20 Richmond area localities has helped us get there, too. We’ve hit the streets in the Tri-Cities area and more. Take a look at the Communities tab and get to know more about these nearby cities and counties.
- Coming soon: Forums, more polls, improved events calendar and more video!
